Teacher Gift Guides: What do I get a teacher for the holidays!

Okay after much research, I have the answer to the question for what teachers want to get this holiday season. Whether you are are co-worker or a parent to one of their students, it is always nice to show appreciation for teachers during the holiday season. It is important to note that APPRECIATION CAN BE FREE! That’s right, FREE. You do not have to buy a single thing to show appreciation for a teacher, but if you want to purchase a gift, I am here to share all of the ideas both free and purchased!

Lets Start free:

Teachers work so extremely hard, period. If you want to show appreciation but cannot afford to buy a gift I have a few perfect options:

⁃    MY FAVORITE: Email the teacher, adding in the principal and write up an email expressing your gratitude for their hard work they put into your student every day. I have received a few emails like this and when I tell you I literally cried, I am being so for real. Hard work being recognized is an incredible feeling.

⁃    Hand made thoughtful cards from students, and parents are always wonderful to receive.

⁃    Hand picked flowers if you have any flowering plants at your house.

If we are shopping:

If we are shopping for a teacher, here are some ideas for things that are sure to make them extra jolly:

-Gift cards: gift cards are always and will always be a welcome gift. I have linked some gift card ideas Here

-Favorite treat: this can be completed in a lot of different ways. You can keep it simple, go to the store and pick up a snack and a drink and call it a day. You can also kick it up a notch by grabbing the teacher a coffee or tea on the way to school, or dropping off lunch for them from a favorite spot. Those second options would require a little more planning but are so thoughtful!

-Classroom Wishlist: find out if your teacher has a classroom wishlist and purchase somethings off of it! This is always a wonderful surprise, and keeps the teacher from having to buy their own supplies!

Confidence During The Holidays

Forget playing it safe—this season is all about dressing up and feeling amazing in what you love.

This month I want everyone to focus on dressing to make themselves feel HAPPY. There are so many fun opportunities to dress up for the holidays, and worrying about being too extra should never get in the way of wearing something you love.

The holidays is all about being extra so put on that crazy sweater, or the sparkly shoes! Feel your best knowing that you love when you are wearing, and that it beings you an extra sprinkle of joy.
