Merry Christmas Eve Eve, and Happy Holidays!

I am home for the holidays with my family and am so happy to get to spend this time of year with those I love! Last week I had a favorite things brunch with my teacher besties and my heart is so full after getting to spend time as a group!

This year Christmas looks a little different in my family. We are now hosting Christmas Eve dinner at out house rather than going to my grandparents. Then we also host Christmas Day as well. I am so excited to give all of my gifts✨. Giving gifts is 100% my love language, and make me SO happy! I will be sharing what I bought everyone next week (so they don’t get their surprises spoiled!)

🎉 Wrapping up this week is my birthday on 26th!🎉

❤️ Home for the Holidays ❤️

So many of us go home for the holidays. That is one thing I do love about being a teacher is knowing I will have time off around Christmas. Being home looks different for every family, and changes every year. My Christmas family traditions include making and icing sugar cookies, watching lots of Christmas movies, and wrapping lots of presents.

On Christmas Eve we eat homemade potato and sauerkraut pierogis for dinner and jello cookies for dessert (all courtesy of my grandma). Christmas Day consists of presents first thing in the morning, followed by cooking shrimp tortellini, stuffed shells, and meat balls for dinner with our sugar cookies for dessert. MY birthday on December 26th always consists of a lot of leftovers and a birthday dinner out.
